Bio Chemistry Department

The Biochemistry Department of RAIFR has state of the art facilities and is well equipped for working on principles of Ayurveda.The 2D gel electrophoresis technique which is now become the premium technique in proteomics, for the study of whole protein content in organisms, is successfully applied over various biological samples.
The 2D gel electrophoresis system at RAIFR is well associated with all necessary tools for analysis of protein content in biological samples such as Gel Doc System and Gel analysis software.Other instruments in the laboratory are Vacuum Gel dryer, Automated Biochemical Analyzer (On-Chip Protein Electrophoresis), Water Purification System (Milli Q) and Western blotting apparatus.
